FastSoft was launched in 2006 to commercialize ground-breaking network optimization technology called FastTCP™ developed at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and funded by the National Science Foundation, DARPA and Cisco.
FastSoft’s products increase website and web application performance, and speed the distribution of video and other digital content across the Internet without requiring client software or browser plug-ins.
Customers include MySpace, Overstock.com, Limelight Networks, JWT, Thomson Technicolor, and Getty Images. Enterprises such as Honda and Siemens use FastSoft to deliver engineering files and software updates corporate-wide and to customers.
Within a year of launching its E Series line of products, FastSoft won the Hollywood Post Association’s Award for Engineering Excellence and finalist for Leading Light’s Best New Startup.
